- 1 package puff pastry (thawed)
- 1 cup raspberry pie filling
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a floured surface until it’s nice and smooth.
- Cut heart shapes out of the rolled pastry using a cookie cutter or a knife.
- Place half of the heart shapes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spoon a small amount of raspberry pie filling onto the center of each pastry heart.
- Take another heart-shaped pastry and place it on top, pressing the edges to seal.
- Brush the top of each pastry with an egg wash.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let them cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar.
Notes
These pastries can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. For longer storage, freeze them and reheat in the oven.
