- 1 cup peas
- 6 slices bacon
- 1 cup cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Crisp the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and crumble.
- Sauté the garlic in the same skillet with olive oil for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Combine the peas and cooked pasta in the skillet, stirring to combine.
- Create the creamy sauce by pouring in the cream and mixing well, allowing to heat through until creamy.
- Add the crumbled bacon, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve warm, topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
