1 1/2 cups heavy cream - 8 oz bittersweet chocolate, chopped
- 3 large eggs, separated
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder (for dusting)
- Chocolate shavings (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Melt the bittersweet chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Prepare the egg yolks and granulated sugar together until pale and creamy. Stir in melted chocolate and vanilla extract.
