- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- Generous pinch of sea salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Combine the sweetened condensed milk, brown sugar, butter, corn syrup, and sea salt in a heavy-bottomed saucepan. Place over medium heat.
- Stir frequently with a wooden spoon or silicone spatula as the butter melts and the mixture comes together.
- Let the mixture come to a gentle bubble, stirring constantly, and cook for 8–10 minutes until thickened and smooth.
